This ability to share information and ideas has helped found and build the OpenECU community of enthusiasts and professional tuners alike.

Tighter Boost Control

Reduced Hours
Due to variety of local, state, and federal COVID-19 related restrictions on person movement, Tactrix will be working under reduced hours until such restrictions are lifted. We will be attempting to remotely answer email inquires (while also watching our own children and keeping our spouses sane('Happy wife, Happy life!')) and coming in to the office periodically to ship orders. We expect that we will still be able to supply hardware regularly, but in some cases it will take an extra day or so to process. If you have no ability to tune yourself, my main service allows you to postal mail me your PCM for tuning, for just $100 OBDI LT1 / $100 OBDII LT1 / $100 LS1 for basic changes, or only $175 OBDI LT1 / $175 OBDII LT1 / $200 LS1 for power, MPG and/or auto transmssion tuning, or for your '92-'93 LT1, have me mail you a new tuned chip for $85 or $150. All prices include free USPS Priority Mail return shipping and one free retune!

Lastly, for 1994-2003 flash-based PCMs, I can loan you a kit to load my tunes yourself as well as data-log your vehicle while driving, so that I can tune it completely through email, for one week: 1986-1993 TPI/TBI/LT1 PCM ($225), 1994-1995 LT1 PCM ($225), 1996-1997 LT1 PCM ($225), and 1997-2003 LS1/Vortec PCM ($250).
